you get my last bubble.....
although my lack of experience with reach hardly makes me qualified to offer a true opinion ( thats why i said "considered the weakest by most, almost everyone i know and myself think its the weakest ). the sp fell flat for me a couple hrs in and i couldnt even bring myself to finish reach. so i tried the mp and after a few hours of that as well i just didnt like the new direction and most importantly the maps it shipped with were very weak. ...
i was gonna point this out as well but it just seemed so obvious lol
i have been waiting for a battle with hundreds of characters on screen at once since the beginning lol. it just seems like a natural fit. halo 3 had the most wide open battles so far and a few epic moments like fighting the scarab. thats why it was my fav so far, other than the star wars moment in the jet fighter this one def lacked those and the lack of enemies def hurt it. i miss the brutes for starters and my prob with the promeatheans is that they felt weightless. when i shoot a covenant ...
the website is terribly laid out as is the review. also reach is far from the best halo imo and im pretty sure is considered the weakest entry by most.
on that note, i dont necessarily disagree with the score but def disagree with the contents of the review
the sp for me was weak in this one. the story was the best so far but the gameplay is still walk from a to b shooting everything, press button, repeat. the story help mask this somewhat and the vehicle lev...
i got max payne as well
i agree about the mp. i wouldnt say boring but nothing special. def wont stop you from playing halo, battlefield, or COD but few games will. this game is all about the sp, at least in my opinion
i will give the map editor a spin though, perhaps some wicked maps from the community will be enough to draw us into it
ill never understand the point of tablets and ipads personally. almost anything the ipad can do, a smartphone can as well, just on a smaller screen. ipad is useless compared to a laptop or desktop and ipads are sh*t in the gaming department compared to a console.
i just dont see the point lol
yeah your prob right, the engaging story/characters all the reviewers are writing about, gorgeous visuals, open world with tons to do, variety in the game play, etc all have nothing to do with it.
very excited for this
@tentonsoftube
yeah and wrestling games got up over $100 and when you compare that to the state of he economy back then ( at least in the states ) 60/80/100.....that kind of money meant even more back then. esp since minimum wage was somewhere in the 4/5 dollar range
for all the whining gamers do, the real truth is that gming is cheaper than ever and one of the few forms of entertainment that despite rising production cost, it has actually gotten cheaper for ...
i personally love thq, i will be very upset to see them go under. i love wwe games, darksiders, saints row, and metro last light and south park look amazing
so instead of whining and b*tching about it, wait another few months and it wont be. i highly doubt you had anything to do with its production and budget and have even the slightest idea what it cost to produce.
would i pay $60 for that title, no but im sure there are some people who will so i wont sit here and cry about capcom trying to make money for profit and future games. plus $60 is still cheaper than most n64 games were back in the day
and on that note...
well to be fair not taking into consideration your competition is not only extremely cocky but also cutting corners. even if your on top, if you want to remain that way you need to be aware of and addressing your competition to remain competitive.
disregarding your competition for w/e reason is a quick way to an early grave
clearly sony and ms know this hence the ps move and kinect.
i personally think mariokart was dethroned long ago, mod nation was a better game in every aspect. this also looks more promising, i have full intentions to buy this game
indeed, played and loved both.
they should put carnage heart in there. it was such a unique, awesome, and challenging game
they used to be one of my fav devs!!! imagine being in my spot lol, oh how the mighty have fallen.
well of course it would sell out everywhere being that it is a new console and the only one but after the taste wii left in many peoples mouths, i dont see the crazy demand lasting long. is it a better console than the wii? from the looks of it without question but i def see a lot of people, myself included, waiting until its a $200-$250 system and thats provided im bored with my new xbox/ps4 at that point which i doubt. good luck to Nintendo though, i never want to see them go under thats fo...
lol at zeldas response. for obvious reasons i can see why you are trying to defend them but pricing models hardly mean anything to anyone except devs like rpd stated. yes they may* give us some slightly cheaper games but i dont know how many devs are going to work for free unless they do an ad supported model on the wii u which would in turn effectively kill the free aspect to begin with since no console gamer wants an ad at the bottom of their tv the whole time.
and fyi, psn...
well to be fair at the moment sony cant even afford to piss in a bathroom because they can barely afford the rent and yet they are making it work
well to be fair, every console sells out of stock on a regular basis for the first 3-6 months typically. no point in comparing until its first year on the market has finished
